My youngest grandson, Elijah, loves macaroni and cheese. If his mother would let him, he would eat it every day for lunch and dinner. A friend gave me an easy recipe for Crock pot Macaroni and Cheese that I serve at family gatherings. It’s delicious and Elijah loves it!
Charlene’s Crockpot Mac & Cheese
- 8 oz. macaroni (cooked)
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 c. shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- 1 t. paprika
Mix the macaroni, evaporated milk, milk, butter, salt, pepper, eggs and all but 1/2 cup of the grated cheese. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of the mixture and then sprinkle with paprika.
Cook on low three to four hours.
