Don’t Miss The Exhibit in Downtown Flint “Off the Wall: Sculpture from the Mott-Warsh Collection”

This month marks the last chance to see the “Off the Wall: Sculpture from the Mott-Warsh Collection” exhibit which will end on January 25. The exhibition presents over 30 sculptures from Mott-Warsh artists across a range of medium. Materials utilized include bronze, steel, wood, ceramic, glass, fibers, synthetics and repurposed materials. Featured artists include Nick Cave, Barbara Chase-Riboud, Sonya Clark, Mel Edwards, Richard Hunt, Alison Saar, Therman Statom, Bernard Williams and more.

On view in the MW Black Box Video Gallery is Topsy Turvy, a performance piece by artists Bradley McCallum and Jacqueline Tarry that explores the duality of society.

On January 10 ARTWALK, the gallery will be open and will provide refreshment for guests as well as musical performances by the “Trunino Lowe Quartet” between 6-9pm. If you plan on being Downtown Flint for the January ARTWALK, be sure to make it to the Mott-Warsh Gallery to view “Off the Wall: Sculpture” exhibit before its last day, January 25.
