Barbershop Chorus to raise funds for education

Flint Arrowhead Barbershop Chorus

Flint, Mich. – On Saturday, May 9, from 6-8 p.m. the Flint Arrowhead Barbershop Chorus will present their 76th year anniversary Spring concert at Powers High School Auditorium at 1505 West Court Street, Flint in support of the Powers Catholic Student Scholarship Fund.

“This Flint chorus has been singing in Flint for 76 years. If we can have an evening of family entertainment and raise money for education at the same time, we will have met our objectives,” said choir marketing manager Bill Karas.” This promises to be a fun evening of music and comedy we are calling “Hee Haw Harmony.”

The Flint Arrowhead Barbershop Chorus, made up of 30 men who love to sing the old time American favorites.  Show tickets are $15. Immediately after the show a “Meet the Cast Afterglow” will be held where the chorus will provide delicious pizza and salad. “DoubleDate quartet” and the Flint “Banjos Plus” ensemble will provide live entertainment. Afterglow tickets are $10.
