This yearly diversity initiative held at the FIA was presented in conjunction with the opening of the “Community” exhibition in celebration of Black History Month. The evening featured a lecture by Dr. Kelli Morgan, assistant curator at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, entitled “A Manner of Space: Black Modality in African American Art” followed by gallery opening, a strolling dinner and live entertainment.
