The New McCree Theatre presents: “Don’t Bother Me, I Can’t Cope”

Miss Grant has produced what is almost the black equivalent of a flamenco show and it seems to be a mixture of a block party and a revival meeting. Her music leans heavily on traditional black sources, such as the blues, calypsos and spirituals, but from these influences she has written a charming and lively score and her lyrics, whether about love or the ghetto, have sweetness and wit.
