Holiday Mocktails

At any holiday gathering, it’s always a good idea to offer your guests one or two non-alcoholic options for celebrating with a “cheers!” They’re pretty and festive, too.

Cranberry Cinnamon Punch

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup water
  • 1/3 cup red cinnamon candies
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 can (46oz) pineapple juice, chilled
  • 1 bottle (2 L) cranberry flavored lemon-lime carbonated soda, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) cranberries
  • Cinnamon sticks, if desired

TO MAKE

Syrup: In a 1-quart saucepan, mix water, candies and sugar. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce to medium-low heat; simmer uncovered stirring constantly until candy dissolves. Cool completely (about 30 min.). Refrigerate, if desired.

In a punch bowl, mix syrup mixture and pineapple juice. Stir in soda just before serving and pour over ice. Garnish with cranberries and cinnamon sticks.

Ginger Grapefruit Mocktail

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup cold ginger beer
  • ¾ cup fresh-squeezed red
  • or pink grapefruit juice
  • Grapefruit wedge
  • Mint sprig

TO MAKE

Fill glass with ice, add ginger beer and grapefruit juice; stir. Garnish with grapefruit wedge and mint sprig, if desired.

Season’s Greetings!

The holidays are a time to surround yourself with family and friends, eat seasonal treats, and toast what’s to come. Help keep the celebrations going and #GiveADamn about the safety of your family, friends and community this holiday season.

If you choose to celebrate with a “cheers,” always remember to drink responsibly and plan ahead to use a rideshare service, designated driver, or public transportation to get to and from your destination safely.

Drunk driving is 100 percent preventable, and it’s up to you to do your part to keep the roads safe in the Great Lakes Bay Region. That’s why we’re joining Budweiser to celebrate the holidays by reminding everyone to plan ahead for a safe ride home from their celebrations.

Over the past 35 years, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have invested more than $1 billion in the United States to promote alcohol responsibility and reduce drunk driving, and we look forward to continuing this effort through 2018 and beyond.
From everyone at Fabiano Brothers, we wish you a happy and safe holiday season!

Sincerely,
Fabiano Brothers
