Financial Plus Credit Union is pleased to announce they have raised a gross of $77,739 from their 2015 Pink Night fundraising efforts. A net total of $69,300, will be donated to American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The 9th annual “Pink Night” event was held Thursday, October 1st, 2015 in downtown Flint at Blackstone’s Pub & Grill, 531 S. Saginaw St., Flint, MI.
This upscale fundraiser sold out its 400 tickets for the third constitutive year in a row. Attendees were entertained by a performance from Chassé Ballroom and Latin Dance Studio, music by DJ Brian Collard, buffet catered by Blackstone’s Pub & Grill, a tasteful brassiere fashion show, and a live and silent auction. The 2015 Golden Bra award went to Sapphire Blue Investment Partners for their peacock inspired brassiere design. This award is given annually at Pink Night to the artist who creates the top bra entered into the fashion show.
“We are ecstatic about the money raised this year. Funds raised from Pink Night will go to local and national breast cancer research to better understand, prevent, find, and treat the disease and provide information and support to those touched by breast cancer.” said Olga Long, Senior Vice President of Financial Plus Credit Union.
Chassé Ballroom and Latin Dance Studio was the Pink Night Title Sponsor for the third consecutive year.
