The Ties and Tails Gala is coming up this weekend! The highly anticipated event will take place this year at Signature Chop House in Flushing. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to help the animals at the Genesee County Humane Society (GCHS).
This year the event will feature a champagne hour, live music and professional dinner. Live and silent auctions will be conducted throughout the event featuring gift packages from local businesses, A “HSGC Garden package,” an ultimate sports fans trip getaway, a one-week luxury vacation to Orlando, and a jazz trip to New Orleans. Don’t miss the auction to become next year’s pet ambassador. The pet ambassador, and their pet, becomes the “face” of the Genesee County Humane Society’s fundraiser. This year’s ambassador is London Eisenbeis, a young Grand Blanc girl who passed away last year from an undetected heart condition.
This year the GCHS hopes to raise $60,000 for the shelter and the animals with $11,000 going to cover microchips for the animals. Make sure to reserve your place at this year’s gala to aid in the healthy life of a wonderful pet.
